I'm torn between 3 stars and 4 stars, but the kind waitress saved the night. Great restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere. Sadly the ambient and menu don't harmonize. After talking to the waitress (absolute sweetheart) she told us that it's all very new and they are still finding themselves. The menu is all over the place and I really hope they figure out what they want to serve and be known for. She told us it should be a steakhouse which I hope doesn't happen. The layout and ambience reminds of a white glove service. But whatever. The kitchen still has some learning to do. Somehow the broccoli has burn marks (I don't mind, adds a great taste) but it's barely hot. I told the waitress who apologised and took it back to the kitchen. She handled the situation very well but I find the kitchen should check over their plates before sending them out or at least try it. My chantralles (pfifferlinge) didn't taste like anything which was a real shame but the whole dish was good. Great experience and hope to visit Hamburg again. When the day comes I'll definitely have another go at the restaurant.

View, service and location are really very good. Food is mediocre, especially considering the price. My steak should have been medium but it wasn't.

Went here for a beer. Beer prices as bad as at the Oktoberfest in Munich 6 euros for 0.5 liters of beer. Heavy but good It was bad that the service from above snapped at my friend when she was still drinking from the water bottle she had brought while ordering beer. 18 euros for 3 beers and then the service?

We reserved a table, but weren't served, neither were we shown to the table. The waiters ignored us and when asked they said that a colleague was about to come. Said colleague never showed up and we went to eat somewhere else.

We recommend. Service friendly. Food very tasty. Main course and dessert. We were in Hamburg for 5 days and we went there twice to eat and drink coffee once at noon. We felt very comfortable!

The food was excellent, rarely eaten so well. Price is of course higher than normal, but a nice thing for a visit to Hamburg. View when eating outside is also very nice!

Unfortunately I'm a bit divided, so I have to deduct 2 stars ... One evening we had a reservation for the 3 course gourmet menu; the food was outstanding, the service was very good, everyone was very courteous and tried hard - we felt very comfortable that evening. On the second evening we had no reservation, but were nevertheless allowed to sit at a reserved table on the terrace (we would have had 40 minutes); the problem was that we waited 15 minutes at this table without being asked about the drink request (we had said we would only like to have a drink) and were then rather gruffly asked to leave the table as the guests would already be there for the reservation (we could take a seat at the bar) - 25 minutes before the reservation time. On the day of departure we had reserved a table for breakfast, we were informed in advance that we would have 1 hour (I think a little bit) - the more annoying is when you have to wait 10 minutes to ask when you can order and then have to wait another 10 minutes until breakfast is completely on the table; the organization is a disaster! Even worse is the breakfast itself, which is advertised online as a replacement for the breakfast buffet; you only get mini rolls and cold cuts, which are cut into 4x4 cm pieces, so that you need 4 of these pieces to adequately fill one half of the rolls (apart from the fact that the total amount is unacceptable for 2 people - we immediately did the same again ordered). If you order additional hazelnut cream, you get an egg-cup-sized amount for 2 people, the fruit salad was the size of a standard wind light for a small tea light, if you order pancakes for 2 people, you get 2 pieces with a diameter of max. 10 cm ... I could go on like this for longer! I take the liberty to write this review in detail, since I myself have worked in the catering industry for over 10 years and also know a lot of different breakfast offers in different places. For a price of 23.00 euros something has to change! This is absolutely unacceptable!

Location and view great. High quality for reasonable prices. Price-performance ratio 1A. Top service. All around satisfied and recommendable.

We have once again for Hamburg Culinary - all Christmas decided. First we had to find a parking space, then find the restaurant. Everything worked. We got a nice table by the window overlooking the Elbe. The waiter was a little stressed, which you could see through the strong sweat stains in his shirt. He was still friendly. Drinks came quickly. The menu was delicious. Nothing was done under time pressure. We felt very comfortable and would repeat it.

Chic cozy upscale restaurant. Food was good, the side dish could have been a bit more. However, only one operation with a large group.

Our favorite restaurant when we are in Hamburg on musical tour. The staff is always friendly and well trained, as very attentive. The food is not only visually a pleasure and the price-performance ratio fits. We'll meet again in any case.

I had three dinners and one lunch there in a week. Food overall is good and so is environment. The drawback is the service, slow and inconsistent. They're are better restaurants in Hamburg for sure. 3,5 stars
